InfoCenter Foundation is a Non Profit Corporation incorporated in Louisiana in October

of 2005.  Contributions are welcome and needed.

InfoCenter Foundation plans to provide up to 3600 operational units [enough for 360 cities and towns] into service during an emergency event of the size and nature of a hurricane Katrina.  This will require equipment and manpower to be available 24/7 during the emrgency period and on a as needed basis thereafter.  The estimated budget to provide the services for a single katrina level event per year is approximately $6.0 million.  Needless to say these funds cannot be raised without your help.  Although the foundation expects the majority of the funding to come from their subscriber base, that is not expected to be sufficient to provide all of the funding necessary maintain the free services to the impacted areas.
